Der Gopher is an authentic Israeli progressive rock band combining electronics and folk, reggae, dub, and psychedelic musical elements, songs in different languages, with scenic performance and dance.

The guitars sing, growl and screech. All this takes you by the throat and throws you in a dark rabbit hole where all kinds of things fly over you. This is the magic of Tanya, the face and the voice of the band. More precisely, she brings up different voices and faces singing in different tongues. This is circus, pantomime. and puppet theatre where each piece is not like the previous one. Der Gopher - самобытная израильская прогрессив-рок группа,соединяющая в себе электронную музыку с элементами фолк-рока, рэгги, даб, психодел-рока с сценическим перформансом, танцем,песнями на разных языках мира.

"...гитары, поют, квакают, завывают, скрежещут... И всё вместе хватает за горло и тащит в какую-то тёмную кроличью нору. При этом навстречу восприятию летят голоса, персонажи, предметы...
Это на авансцене колдует Таня, лицо и голос группы. Точнее, это разные лица и разные голоса, поющие к тому же на разных языках. Это цирк, кабаре, пантомима и кукольный театр, где каждый номер не похож на предыдущий. Где мексиканскую колыбельную сменяет украинская любовная, танец с веерами - хождение по канату, а фисгармонию - шаманский бубен." (Егор Тененбаум)
