On May 21, at Rodeo, on his birthday, the musician who blends a love of many musical styles will present an evening of creative performances.
Dmitry “Joe” Taranov is a multi-instrumentalist and composer exploring genres from jazz, blues, and electronic music to European, Indian, and Arabic classical traditions. For many years he built a career as a jazz double-bassist in Moscow. He studied Indian classical music on the sarangi with masters in India and Arabic music on the oud in Israel.
The evening will take the form of an open creative session and jam, featuring performances by Intuitive Project, Oleg Starobinets, Valery Ravinsky, Sofia Larina, Max Simakov, and others. You’ll hear jazz, jazz fusion, and world music. Come celebrate this special evening with us!
21 мая в Родео в свой день рождения представит творческий вечер музыкант, который сочетает в себе любовь ко многим музыкальным направлениям.
Дмитрий Джо Таранов - мультиинструменталист, композитор исследующий различные музыкальные направления от джаза, блюза, электронной музыки, до европейской, индийской, арабской классики. Музыкант много лет строил карьеру джазового контрабасиста в Москве. Изучал индийскую классическую музыку на саранги у мастеров в Индии и арабскую музыку на уде в Израиле.
Вечер пройдёт в формате творческой встречи и джема, где свою музыку исполнят Intuitive project, Олег Старобинец, Валерий Равинский, София Ларина,Макс Симаков и другие. Прозвучит музыка в стиле jazz, jazz fusion, world music. Приходите провести с нами это эт вечер!
