The Jack London Band is a mix of archaic blues, garage boogie, and authentic lo-fi rock ‘n’ roll. This legendary traveling orchestra calls for everyone to make noise together! Don’t miss the chance to hear them in your city. Harmonica, washboard, slide guitar—and that’s not all!
The band was formed on October 1, 2005, in St. Petersburg. Over time, they found their unique sound and have played their music in many cities across Russia (Moscow, Tver, Vologda, Murmansk, Apatity, Smolensk, Desnogorsk, Vyborg, Ukhta, Nizhny Novgorod, and more) and abroad (Ukraine, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, France). Since 2022, the band has been based in Israel.
"...really enjoyed it and would be happy to hear more - along with a description of what the words are about." — Joe Boyd (producer of Pink Floyd, Fairport Convention, Eric Clapton, and others)
They have performed at festivals such as:
- "Bridge" (2018) in Krasnoye Selo, supporting the bridge museum,
- "Green Marathon" in St. Petersburg (2017),
- Street Music Festival (2017) in St. Petersburg,
- "Baltic Coast" (2015) in Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad Region,
- "Tabtabus on Lake Sapsho" (2014–2016) in Smolensk Region.
They have also participated in charity concerts in support of orphanages and hospices: in Pavlovsk (2013–14), in St. Petersburg ("Melody of Hope" in 2012), and in Smolensk ("Rock for Help" in 2010–11).
They are award-winning laureates of the "White Stripe" festival (2010), dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Mike Naumenko ("Zoopark"), where musicians from bands like "Zvuki Mu," "Aquarium," "Mitki," and, of course, "Zoopark" also performed, along with many others.
They have repeatedly performed with M. Vladimirov ("Chizh & Co," "Myths") and "Hoba Live" (2009–10). They have also participated in blues jams with A. Lyapin and A. Zubarev ("Aquarium," "Pop Mechanics").
