Tribute to A. Zatsepin & R. Pauls at Rodeo Haifa! #2
📢 Sergey Susid presents:
May 8 | Friday
An acoustic evening dedicated to two great names — Alexander Zatsepin and Raimonds Pauls.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Alexander Zatsepin. His music is an entire era of Soviet cinema: “There Is Only a Moment,” “The Song About Hares,” “Where Does Childhood Go,” “The January Blizzard Is Ringing,” “This World Was Not Created by Us” — songs known by heart across generations. His melodies featured in films by Leonid Gaidai and many others, becoming part of our cultural memory.
Raimonds Pauls is another composer without whom this musical world is impossible to imagine. His songs were performed by Alla Pugacheva, Laima Vaikule, Valery Leontiev and many others: “A Million Scarlet Roses,” “Vernissage,” “Maestro,” “Yellow Leaves,” “Love Has Come” — recognizable from the very first notes. This year the composer celebrated his 90th birthday.
The evening is dedicated to the anniversaries of these two legends — a great reason to gather, recall favorite songs, and hear them live.
