FromScratch is a fresh and energetic pop-rock band that has been lighting up the Israeli music scene since forming in May 2022. The group was founded in Israel by three immigrants from Russia, each with a rich musical background and a shared passion for creating music that moves people.

• Roman Belov: ​A multi-instrumentalist with a powerful and wide vocal range, Roman previously lived in Los Angeles, where he studied music in Hollywood.

• Konstantin Chalykh: He was formerly part of well-known Russian bands such as Tequilajazzz, SunSay, Zemfira, and My Rockets Up.

• Sergey Kivin: Also the drummer for one of Russia’s popular rock bands, Animal Jazz, Secret, and the iconic Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidopliassova.

"We left our homeland after Russia began its war against Ukraine. As artists who couldn’t stand by, we chose a new beginning, and found our home in Israel. Our sound blends catchy hooks, powerful melodies, and groovy rhythms inspired by pop, rock, and funk. Since our debut, we’ve played more than 300 shows across Israel, winning over audiences with our bright, uplifting, and danceable energy. But FromScratch is more than just a band, it’s a story about starting over. We’re building a community for anyone who’s ever had to begin again, proving that no matter where life takes you, it’s never too late to start from scratch."
